The Balanced Lug Sail offers simplicity of rigging for this traditionally shaped GRP simulated clinker designed hull. The high peaked rig gives good windward performance. The Heyland Lugger has a displacement hull and with her wine glass transom has good performance under sail, she also rows exceptionally well. In addition Heyland Lugger with her deep keel, offers excellent stability and grip on the water in a cross wind. The Heyland Lugger can be motored by a conventional outboard or a pollution-free 12v Electric Outboard Engine. Easy to launch and recover. Towed by any light weight trailer.
